Yossi Govrin’s talent for capturing the essence of people in his bronze sculptures has led him to be awarded commissions of world leaders like Donald Douglas, Yitzhak Rabin and General James Doolittle
The monument in honor of the Israeli late Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin is installed in Rabin Square, Tel Aviv City Hal, Israel at the site of the Prime Minster's assassination. The monument of General James H. Doolittle is placed in three national Museums of Aviation in the USA including, the Musuem of Flying, Santa Monica, the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, Savannah, Georgia and the Wright Petterson Airforce Base, Dayton Ohio. The monument of Donald Douglas is placed at the Museum of Flying, DC3 Monument, Santa Monica Airport, Santa Monica, CA.
