Night Watch Sculptures

In the Night Watch series, Govrin’s sculptures relate directly to "human conductivity" and are made from hemp and cement; emphasizing the transient nature of humans and their environment. A single mold reflects our common origin in humanity as well as being male and female. The added elements such as chandeliers, stones, and rope suggest the sense of individuality and uniqueness that resonates across cultural and national boundaries.
